作者簡介 安貝爾（Ann Baer） 生於1914年4月，現年105歲，入選2018年《了不起的百歲女性》（The Century Girls）。 她與丈夫經營美術出版社蓋尼米德（Ganymed Press），擔任總監。二戰時期當公務員之前，她曾於倫敦就讀切爾西藝術學校（Chelsea School of Art）。她為本書手繪許多細緻插圖，一生對中世紀英格蘭保有高度興趣。 譯者簡介 翁仲琪 曾任出版社編輯，現為自由文字工作者。
